Attach to your roof without any other clamps or anything like that, that would go underneath your doorjamb here. Instead, it uses these suction mounts on both sides. These suction mounts do have 210 pounds of pull, so they are going to stay in place once they're installed. This is a great roof rack system to carry a wide variety of accessories to free up space inside your Corolla, like bike racks, cargo baskets, or cargo boxes. This is adjustable with these eyelets here on both sides back and forth to accommodate different crossbar spread. more

Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Toyota Corolla

Today on our 2013 Toyota Corolla, we'll be test-fitting the Thule traverse roof rack system, using part numbers THLB50, TH480, and THKIT1515. We'll begin our test fit by first placing the front bar onto the front of our roof. We'll need to measure ten inches from the front part of our front window, to the first part of our foot pack. We'll need to make this measurement on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle. This will insure that the front bar is perpendicular to the roof of our Corolla, and that the pads fit correctly on the roof line. With the front bar in position, we can use the included tensioning tool, which will turn the silver bolt on the inside of our foot, which will tighten down the clips up against the roof. When tightening, we want to alternate sides, so that the bar doesn't favor one side of the vehicle. With the front bar secured, we'll now place our rear bar onto the rear of our roof, and measure our load bar spread. more
